MoU Signed at NCL Campus, Pune; Official Jersey of Nouwa Marup FC Launched
PUNE — Nouwa Marup Pune has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Bank of Imphal (IBI), Pune Branch, securing a 10-year sponsorship agreement for Nouwa Marup FC (NMFC) covering the period 2026 to 2036. The signing ceremony was held at the NCL Campus, Pashan, Pune.
Romashini, Secretary of Nouwa Marup Pune, and Mrs. Ambica Shougrakpam, Board of Directors of IBI Pune Branch, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Speaking at the ceremony, Romashini expressed satisfaction over IBI's recognition of Nouwa Marup's potential and its aims and objectives. She also indicated her intention to extend the MoU beyond football to other activities of Nouwa Marup that carry social inclusiveness approaches.
Ambica Shougrakpam outlined IBI's vision and assured continued support to Nouwa Marup in the years ahead.
As part of the signing ceremony, the official jersey of Nouwa Marup FC Pune was unveiled by dignitaries present at the event.
Janardhan, Captain of NMFC Pune, welcomed the development warmly. "This will give a moral boost to all the players, coaches, and staff," he said.
Beyond football, Nouwa Marup has been making strides in community engagement through the Nouwa Games — an annual multi-activity event open to all children under 13 years of age, focused on good health and social inclusion. Launched in 2025, the 2nd edition of the Nouwa Games was held on January 31 and February 1, 2026, at The Farmstead Resort, Mulshi, Pune.
