Imphal West administration has directed all private hospitals, clinics, pharmacies and diagnostic centres to compulsorily enrol under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
Imphal, July 17: The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal West has directed all registered private health facilities in the district to compulsorily enrol under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) as part of the district's implementation of the national digital health programme.
The directive follows the selection of Imphal West as the Model District for the implementation of the ABDM framework. According to an order issued by the Deputy Commissioner, the decision comes after review meetings held on June 22 and 23, 2026, during which the roadmap for implementing the mission in the district was discussed.
Under the directive, all registered and operational private health facilities have been instructed to report for enrolment at the IT Centre, Imphal West, located next to Kombirei Hall inside the DC Office Complex at Lamphelpat, according to the notified schedule.
The order stated that the proprietor, medical superintendent, facility head or an authorised representative of each establishment must attend the enrolment process at the allotted time. Authorities cautioned that failure to report could delay compliance with the Health Facility Enrolment requirements under the ABDM and would be viewed seriously.
Participants have been instructed to carry all documents and information listed in Annexure-I of the notification to complete the enrolment formalities.
The directive also covers private healthcare establishments that may not have been specifically listed in the annexures. All pharmacies, dental clinics, hospitals and diagnostic laboratories operating in the district have been asked to attend the enrolment programme compulsorily according to the prescribed schedule.
The Deputy Commissioner has urged all concerned establishments to take note of the instructions and ensure strict compliance to facilitate the rollout of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission in Imphal West.
