DAP Shipment

IMPHAL – The Directorate of Agriculture has officially clarified the circumstances surrounding the apprehension of a fertilizer-laden truck by the public in Moirang. Director Shri Peter Salam convened a media briefing today at the departmental office in Sanjenthong to address the incident, which involved a Tata truck reportedly associated with Agro-Tech Solutions.

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the vehicle was transporting approximately 600 bags of Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), also known as 'Diamond,' sourced from Bihar. Crucially, the Director revealed that Agro-Tech Solutions is not an authorized or registered dealer within the state, making the transportation and intended distribution of the fertilizer unauthorized.
